Advanced version of the well known C-Control / BASIC Unit STATION
The Unit STATION 2.0 is a powerful and fast BASIC computer, developed for industrial applications and hobby.
The STATION 2.0 is perfectly suitable for applications which require rapid developement.
The new Unit is app. 37 times faster than the older versions and mostly compatible.
The case contains the mostly required equippment for standard applications and is ready to be mounted directly to
DIN Rails.
While the C-Control Computers are traditionally could only compute bytes and words,
the ADVANCED version of the C-Control is able to compute Floating Point values.
Even many problems can be solved by using scaling and proximation techniques,
when using word and byte sized values some applications can not be realised, though.
The 32 bit Floating Point Module doesn't only ease the programming of algorithms, moreover
it opens a new field of applicaions that require the use of very small or large values, to have to be calculated with.
All Operations or functions are either integrated into the operation system or, if customisation may be required,
into a library that can be edited by the user.
Moreover an extended memory cares the needs of complex projects. 22k memory for program code and
240 bytes for variables are available.
The STATION ADVANCED is 100% compatibel to a STATION 2.0 (except meory size, FP-Module and max. baudrate)
